Kemp Geotechnical Consulting develops project- and model-specific Python automation for consulting teams that already use PLAXIS 2D. Workflows use the PLAXIS Remote Scripting API to automate repetitive manual tasks and make model execution, results interrogation and reporting much faster and simpler.

Model setup and scenario generation

 Scripts can create or update geometry, materials, loads, structural elements, mesh controls and staged-construction settings. This can support parametric studies, option comparisons and repeated analysis of similar sections.

Calculation workflow

 Automation can open models, configure or interrogate phases, create complex phase trees, run calculations and support processing tasks.

Results interrogation and engineering checks

 Phase-by-phase extraction can cover ground response, displacements, pore pressures, safety results, cross-section, and forces in plates, anchors, embedded beams, geogrids and interfaces. Tailored logic can identify governing phases, elements and result envelopes.

Plot packs and reporting outputs

 PLAXIS Output views can be configured and exported consistently, with agreed data compiled into indexed figures, Excel schedules, summary tables and PDF plot packs for review and reporting.
